The Alameda Park is located in Avenida Hidalgo y Avenida Juárez, México City. A pleasant respite from the hustle and bustle of the city, this charming green park has sparkling fountains, shady trees and interesting sculptures such as ‘Malgre Tout’ and ‘Despoire’, by Jesús Contreras. This tourist attraction, recreation space for the local populace was created in 1592 and few city parks guard such hidden history in its landscape. The Alameda Park is beside the Palacio de Bellas Artes. You will find many fountains, statues and monuments interspersed with green areas.
